Adored
by brides in both UK and India, Anne
Heslop knows how to capture the best
of both worlds. A pioneer in the photojournalistic
style that has helped take Asian wedding
photography to new heights, Anne Heslop
has been producing stunning and distinctive
'reportage' images for the past eight
years, and her enthusiasm and dedication
are relentless. |

Annie
recalls "my love affair with
India started 18 years ago, so photographing
Asian Weddings in the UK comes naturally
to me. I love everything about them!
The vibrant colours, rich traditions,
and elaborate rituals inspire shot
after shot. Annie's work reflects
much more than a creative eye and
technical proficiency, it reflects
a soul to her work, something which
is rare to see and a delight to behold.

Emotion
is the common thread that runs through
all of Annie's work, and can be traced
back to her first commission - to
document the Gujarat Earthquake for
an international charity. This is
where her love of photography developed.
These days, in the winter months,
when the wedding season quietens down
in the UK, Anne spends her time in
India, donating her skill with the
camera to help small charities and
photographing destination weddings |

She
admits: 'The great thing is while
I am in India, I'm available to photograph
weddings there, which is helpful for
British Asian couples hosting their
ceremony in India, but find the associated
cost of bringing someone from the
UK prohibitive. Wherever your wedding
is, for photography that comes from
the soul, make sure you contact Annie! |
