What did the bride
wear?
For the civil ceremony I wore a chic pink outfit and for
the Hindu Wedding a stunningly embroidered red and gold
lengha. My bouquet consisted of Cream and Pink Calla
lilies and I wore beautiful Christian Dior silver shoes
for the civil wedding and gold Gucci shoes for the Indian
ceremony. All my jewellery was tailor made by Kyles
Collection.
What did the groom wear?
Sarju wore a grey morning suit with a pink waistcoat and
cravat to compliment my outfit for the civil ceremony. For
the Indian wedding he wore a traditional golden sherwani
with a red scarf to match my outfit.
Describe the ceremony. Were there any
particularly memorable moments?
We had 100 guests attending the civil ceremony and 200
for the Hindu ceremony. Every moment was memorable and the
moment we saw each other for the first time on the big
day, it was hard to hold back the tears of happiness.
Tell Us About The Reception?
The evening reception was held at the very same venue,
Heyjtrop Park with 280 people in attendance it was fairly
intimate. We opted to have 300 candles lighting up the
room with gold as our decor and theme colour.
What Kind Of Food Did You Have?
We had a Champagne reception on the patio of Heyhtrop
park serving canapés before our guests entered the
Ballroom at 6.30pm for the reception dinner, where we
table served a 3 course Indian meal. This was followed by
cutting a 3 tier wedding cake which matched our theme with
white and gold iced shaped roses all over, the most
beautiful cake ever, it felt a shame to cut it!
What Was Your First Dance?
Amazed by Lonestar, It's how we make each other feel
Where Did You Go On Honeymoon?
We went to Thailand and spent 4 days in the madness of
Bangkok, and then 12 days in Phuket one of the most
incredible and beautiful places in the world. The perfect
start to our married life!
