STARTERS


Tirangi Dhokra
Layers of steamed lentil "cake" surrounding a chilli and coriander chutney filling.

Ragda Pattice
Spicy mashed potato patties, served with a rich and spicy chickpea sauce, chopped onions and tamarind chutney.

Khandvi
A delicious savoury dish made with gram flour and yoghurt "pasta" tempered with sesame seeds, mustard seeds and fresh coriander leaves.

Vagharela Patra
Collocasia leaves, rolled up with spices and tamarind paste, then sliced and fried.with onions, mustard seeds and sesame seeds and garnished with fresh coriander.

Dahi Vada
Hot deep fried lentil dumplings (vadas) immersed in a sweetened yoghurt and garnished with tamarind chutney, chilli powder, chaat masala and fresh coriander.

Masala Mogo
Chunks Of Mogo stir-fried with a spicy chilli sauce and onions, green and red peppers and garlic.

Gobi Na Ghoogra
A Gujarati take on "cornish pasties" filled with well spiced shredded cabbage and coconut, served with chutneys.

Bhel Puri
A mixture of puffed rice, potatoes, chick peas, crushed puris and onions, immersed in tamarind, chilli and garlic chutneys and mixed together.

Hara Bhara Kebab
Vegetarian kebabs made from spinach blended with paneer and mashed potatoes and delicate spices.


MAIN COURSES

Kathiawadi Undhiyu
A delectable melange of numerous vegetables, semi ripe bananas and muthias (small bhajias) cooked together with an unforgettable spice mixture.

Jeera Bateteta
Thinly sliced potatoes shallow fried with jeera seeds and whole spices

Rasa Varu Muthiya
Delicately spiced gram lour bhajias (muthias) immersed in a tangy and spicy tomato and chilli based sauce.

Baingan Ka Bharta (Ringra Nu Oro)

Aubergines, potatoes, peppers and baby onions, stuffed with a dry roasted spice micture and shallow fried for an unforgettable taste.

Tindora & Paneer
Ivy Gourd (Tindora) sliced into fine pieces and cooked with deep fried paneer cubes in a spicy and tangy masala sauce.

Dum Aloo

Kadhi
A creamy sweet, sour and spicy yoghurt "soup", thickened with gram flour and laced with red chillies, mustard seeds, methi seeds and fresh coriander.

Kala Channa
Black chick peas cooked in a thick spicy gravy.

Kidney beans cooked in a spicy tomato and onion based gravy

Tuver Daal

RICE & BREADS

Puran Puri
Leavened bread with a delicately sweet lentil filling, coated with butter and roasted on a skillet (tava)

Rotli
The staple of every gujarati household - Needs no explanation!

Puri
Fried puffed whole wheat breads.

Rotla
Leavened bread made from millet flour (bajra) and roasted with ghee

Paratha
A flaky flat bread made of wheatflour or plain flour, pan-fried in ghee oil or butter.

Kesar Bhaat (Saffron Rice)
Rice fried in butter and delicately flavoured with saffron strands.

Jeera Rice
Rice fried in oil and delicately flavoured with jeera seeds.

Vegetable Pulao
Delicately spiced rice, dry fried with onions and mixed vegetables.

Vegetable Biryani

SWEETS

Kesar Shrikhand
A thick and creamy yogurt dessert flavoured with sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron. Fresh fruit can also be added if desired.

Hot Jalebi
Deep fried fermented batter coils, soaked in syrup

Ras Malai
Sweetened maial balla soaked in sweetened, thickened, creamy milk, flavoured with pistachios, saffron, and rosewater
